Believe me when I tell you that I’m in a state of trance right now.
I was sifting YouTube for anything related to Sia Furler when I came across some of her interviews and songs lost in the web like Big Girls Cry and Little Black Sandals and I’m totally convinced that she’s a lyrical genius. She wrote the song Diamonds later sung by Rihanna in 14 minutes! Top it up with the fact that most of her songs have a strong underlying theme they talk about.
I first heard her voice when she featured in David Guetta’s She Wolf and Titanium and was stupefied by her chorus in both the tracks. Then I was blown away by her powerful voice in Chandelier and then again by the beat of Cheap Thrills. And now, I am totally in love with her.
1.) If you were intrigued by my awesome? style of writing and wish to explore further, you can start with 15 songs you didn’t know where written by her.
2.) Okay. I know there’s absolutely no style in writing involved here. This post is plain vanilla. But, you know that I can give you a Gourmet Sundae, right? 😉
